Hands on experience
Unipart Security Solutions Ltd was incorporated as a company in 2008. Its accumulated knowledge and expertise has however been acquired over a twenty year period during which it has provided risk management and loss prevention services to Unipart Group clients.
Almost every one of these clients manufactures or sells items which are attractive to would-be thieves and the challenge has always been to combat the activities of those who would seek to undermine our clients’ profits.
The formation of Unipart Security Solutions as a company provided an opportunity to take all of that experience and offer the same level and range of solutions to the wider market, enabling clients who have not previously had the opportunity, to benefit from Security - The Unipart Way.
Manned Guarding - Unipart Security Solutions was the first company in the UK to attain both the National Security Inspectorate’s ‘Guarding Gold Award’ and the security industry authority’s ‘Approved Contractor Scheme’ Award, using the NSI passport route.
Monitoring & Response Centre - Our Monitoring and Response Centre in Oxford was officially opened by Jeff Little OBE, Chief Executive of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), at a ceremony which took place on 1st March 2011. It replaced an older facility located at the Unipart Group’s head office which was set up to provide monitoring services just for Unipart Group’s sites.
Excellence in Security - Unipart Security Solutions Ltd was a finalist in the Security Guarding Company of the Year category of the 2011 Security Excellence Awards.
Success now and in the future - Organised criminal gangs as well as opportunist thieves are using ever increasing sophisticated methods to steal and commit fraud. There never has been a greater need for the range of security services we provide to help clients protect their assets, property and people, against the threat of internal and external criminal activity.
